Who we are
The operator and data controller for this website is DeveloperData.net (Developer Data), Empire Tower, 41st Floor, Unit 4106-7, South Sathorn Road, Yannawa, Sathorn, Bangkok 10120, Thailand. Contact: [email protected].
What we keep
- Your account: your email address, your name, your plan, and the country your connection came from when you signed up.
- Your API key, only as a fingerprint: never the key itself. Its first characters are kept to show it to you.
- How many calls your key makes, by day and by endpoint.
- What you send us in support tickets.
- Page and API logs, for security.
Signing in with Google
Signing in with Google shares your name, email address and profile picture with Developer Data. We keep the name and email address, and do not keep the picture. We never see your Google password.
While you are signed out, our pages load Google's sign-in script, so Google receives your IP address and may use its own cookies, under Google's privacy policy.
Card details
We never hold card details. Stripe takes the payment and keeps the card.
Why we keep it
To run the API and your account, bill your plan, answer support, stop abuse and keep the service secure. Nothing is sold, and there is no advertising tracking.
Who else handles it
- Stripe, for payments.
- Cloudflare, for the network and security.
- Our email provider, through Developer Data, for account emails.
- Google, for sign-in.
- Our hosting company, for the servers.
Cookies and your browser
| Name | What it does | Lasts |
|---|---|---|
| sda_s | Keeps you signed in | 30 days |
| sda_ot | A check value for signing in with Google | 10 minutes |
| sda_st | A check value for the Google sign-in page | 10 minutes |
| sda_next | Where to take you after signing in, such as a plan you chose | 10 minutes |
| sda_nk | Carries a new key to the page that shows it once | 10 minutes |
| sda_out | Stops Google's pop-up opening just after you sign out | 1 minute |
| ap_click | Remembers which partner sent you, so they can be credited for a purchase; no personal details | 60 days |
All of these are our own. There are no third-party analytics cookies. Your browser also keeps your key, when it is shown to you, so the documentation pages can run calls with it; it stays in that browser until you clear it.
How long it is kept
- Your account: while it is open.
- After you delete it: gone within 30 days, backups included.
- Billing records (invoices, payments): as long as tax and accounting law requires, even after the account is deleted.
- Page, API and security logs: 30 days.
- Support tickets: while the account is open, then deleted with it.
Your rights
You can see what we hold about you, have it corrected, take a copy or have it deleted. Ask through support; we answer within 30 days.
Deleting an account
Delete it yourself in your account, under Activity: Delete my account. It asks first, with what will happen. Your key stops at once, you are signed out, any plan is cancelled (the unused part is not refunded), and the account is deleted within 30 days. Billing records stay as the law requires. If you cannot sign in, ask through support.
Children
Salary Data API is not for anyone under 18.
